Project Director
With his combination of multimedia skills, solid judgment and global communications experience, Jim ensures Lightbox Search engages with all of its audiences and delivers consistent client service excellence. As Project Director at strategic communications firm Lumentus, he works with firm partners and key clients to work on key reputation management projects. His clients include financial, technology and public affairs organizations.
Jim helped develop and has utilized Google search scoring systems since 2015 and his insights proved valuable in the run-up to the launch Lightbox Search. Since the platform’s planning inception in 2017, he has provided important user experience feedback to developers. Jim was one of the first communications professionals to demonstrate that Lightbox Search turns six hours of work into about 90 seconds – because his professional efforts for clients required him to use multiple data sources, now single-streamed by Lightbox Search and largely automated.
Jim came to Lumentus after serving in communications and managing roles at broadcast and film associations worldwide. Jim served as operations director at Doha Film Institute, managing director at News Xchange, an organization where he conceived and executed the concept of convening international broadcast media conferences in various European cities on behalf of the European Broadcasting Union.
Jim previously provided consulting services in global communications strategy, media relations and major event management and served as a vice president at Medialink, where he helped transition the corporate video services company from a start-up to an international, publicly traded, company. Early in his career, Jim worked in an editorial role at Morgan Stanley and started his career as a production coordinator at ABC News.
Jim graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in communications and still says “Go Blue” far too often.
