In a career that spans four decades, Brian has worked with thousands of clients – from associations, advocacy groups, political campaigns, and PR agencies to small businesses and global brands – helping them build effective communications and marketing strategies that exceed the most optimistic expectations.

From 2014-2022, Brian served as Chief Revenue Officer at the world-renowned National Press Club in Washington, DC, leading the strategic direction, management, and growth of all revenue-generating operations for the company. He established and oversaw all aspects of sales, marketing, client services, technology, operations, product/service development, and pricing, resulting in a 300% increase in annual revenue growth in only 18 months.

From 2006 to 2014, Brian was Vice President of Sales for global media and public relations services company PR Newswire, where he led sales, marketing, and customer service for the company’s specialized business unit providing multimedia news distribution, media monitoring, analytics, and integrated communications solutions to government, advocacy, political, association, and education markets. Taylor built and led a team of 25 sales, customer service, and operations professionals and team leaders in five regions across North America responsible for more than 7,000 customer accounts which generated 203% revenue growth from 2006-2013.

In 1995, Brian was hired to build out a new sales, marketing, and product strategy for a small, nine-year-old media services business, U.S. Newswire.

Brian began his professional career in broadcasting as Public Relations Director and on-air personality at WBSB-FM (B-104) in Baltimore, where he organized and executed sales promotions and events, and served as the primary spokesperson for television/radio/print media and community relations.

Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Towson University and has been a featured speaker and subject matter expert on communications and marketing strategy, emerging media trends, business efficiency, and sales performance in print, broadcast, and digital media as well as at industry conferences, including PRSA, IABC, AMA, and others.
